1. Please tell us about the work you will be showing in the 2009 E17 Art Trail?
St Peter in-the-Forest Church has recently been awarded a Grade II listing, so the building alone is a work of art. We also have many talented artists - ranging from quilters to flower arrangers, painters to photographers in the congregation, and some of their works of art will be on display.
2. Could you have done this work anywhere, or is it specific to E17? Did you respond to this year’s Art Trail theme ‘At Home’?
As it was the Church that we first wanted to show, it is very specific to E17; with regards to 'At Home' - that also fits nicely as many people feel At Home in Church.
3. Have you participated in the E17 Art Trail before?

4. How does your work this year relate to your previous artistic practice?

5. What challenges (if any) do you face in realising this work?
Ensuring folk know that our Church is open and part of the trail; parking has to be at the RS Lounge next door to the church, so quite limited. We also have to ensure that there are folk able to be in church all the time for safety reasons.
6. Who is this work for?
We want people to enjoy the beauty, tranquillity, specialness of St Peter in-the-Forest; to learn a bit about our church and to celebrate our artist's work.
7. As well as being an artist what else do you do?
Run the community centre - Peterhouse - which belongs to St Peter in-the-Forest Church.
8. What is your favourite place in E17?
My little garden, or anywhere I am with friends.
