Katja Rosenberg on her involvement in the Trail

Could you tell us about the work you will be showing during this year's E17 Art Trail?
Like every year, with the Arts Club I will be growing art from the trees on Selbourne walk that people can pick during the weekends. Alongside this, we have some stalls where people can sit down and create their own art to add to the trees. Two of these happened last weekend on the town square and the Big Lunch in St James Park, but there is still one workshop happening this Saturday 7 June, 12-4pm.

How have you been preparing for this year's trail?
It was nice to get into printing a bit more again, as I had been neglecting my little mini press for a while. So there are some prints at Pictorem as part of the Arts Club exhibition "Between Ingurgitate and Inhale" curated by Julie Caves with a catalogue of everyone's pieces, designed by myself which you can find here

The prints are inspired by Epping Forest in the spring, so my preparation was a nice long walk through the forest. Then there is a little print of the stegasaurus that lives in the Mill for the "At Home at The Mill" exhibition.

I prepared the Art Grow on Trees workshops by testing the gazebos during a BBQ party on my roof. So all the preps were very enjoyable!

What are you most looking forward to during the E17 Art Trail this year ?
I have not seen much of the trail at all yet and look forward to surprises. I also look forward to visiting the Nooks, Niches and Crannies exhibition at the Makers Yard and doing some drawing with the Arts Club this Sunday.
