Guest blog: Louche - 'Pigeons After Pollock' and other animal antics at E17 Art House Gallery and Picture Framers

Number One in the list of must-sees on the E17 Art Trail, by Waltham Forest Guardian, Zoology at E17 Art House Gallery and Framers is drawing the crowds, and I'm excited to be showing new pieces created for this exhibition.

We all know the people of Walthamstow are creative, but now E17 pigeons want to make their mark in the art world!

My pooping pigeons are proving very popular with E17 Art Trail visitors, and they're amongst good company at E17 Art House, with a really terrific variety of animal art by over 20 artists, designers, photographers and makers packed into this bright and inviting gallery.

Small...or far away? My assistant Bella, always ready to lend a paw.
My other new piece is 'International Cat Chat', a helpful chart showing how cats say 'Meow' in 12 different countries. Much research went into this, and I even enlisted the help of a cat consultant - Bella, who while approving of the project, was convinced the bald Sphinx cat was a baby rat.

E17 Art House Gallery is open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturdays 9.30am-5.30pm
