The Trail Ends at Blackhorse Workshop

It was a bittersweet (and cloudy) closing party for this year's Art Trail at Blackhorse Workshop yesterday; an opportunity to savour the last few hours of the Trail with a look around the Workshop and to discuss everyone's favourite moments over some special Art Trail beer and BBQ. While the DJ kept everyone in a summery groove and children climbed up and down the ladder to the Horse Box cafe everyone joined in lamentations for the end of the biggest (and dare we say best?) Art Trail yet. Visitors had a chance to admire the workshop's Take a Mallet to a Pallet challenge (Art Trail curator Paula Van Hagen had snapped up Woodie Wright's Automaton, below) and it was great to be reminded of all the things the Art Trail is about: seeing all the fantastic things that Walthamstow creatives get up to all year, sharing in the fun and discovering new places and people, and being inspired for the coming year.
